OUR MINISTER
Rev Michelle Ireland
Hello, I am Michelle Ireland and I am delighted to be serving the Churches in Aylburton, Clements End, Coalway, Lydney and Woolaston in the Forest of Dean.
I love the countryside, having been brought up in Okehampton, Devon. I first trained to be a primary school teacher and worked in Newton Abbot for twelve years, I was then a Church worker in Teignmouth for three years.
More recently, for the last ten years, I have served a number of Churches in the rural section of the North East Somerset and Bath Circuit.
I now look forward to joining in God’s mission, sharing the love of Jesus here in Aylburton.
OUR CHURCH
"You may enter our Church as a stranger, but leave as a friend"
We are a small congregation with around 30 members.
We hold regular coffee mornings,
friendship hour and woman's fellowship,
along with fundraising events,
more information about these can be
found on the events page.
We also have Church singing group who
perform at different Church services.
We can be found in the heart of the village
on the A48 between Lydney and Alvington
just opposite The Cross Inn.
We hold weekly Church services that start at 10:30am every Sunday.
Entrance to the Church is located in Wesley Close.
